About the Georges.

The Georges Community Centre, formerly known as Marshfield Bank Community Centre, is the only purpose built Community Centre in Crewe.

The Centre was built in 1999 and funded by Big Lottery and sits adjacent to King George V Playing Fields on West Street, Crewe. It was reopened and renamed following public consultation in summer 2011.
The Centre is owned by Cheshire East Council. They currently lease the facility to Big Society Works Ltd, a social business responsible for management of the facility and capacity building of the Steering Group.
The Centre offers a wide range of activities, providing you with a safe and welcoming environment in which to play, learn, meet, eat and connect with local friends.
